Dana received a doctorate in Psychology and started her market research career in New York. The opportunity to apply a strong interest in understanding human behavior to principles of marketing has been at the core of her career for over 25 years.
In New York, Dana started her career working at BBDO and Geer, DuBois Advertising, where she worked as a strategic thinker and researcher in a broad range of categories including automobiles, spirits, technology, financial services and consumer goods.

In 1996, Dana started her own successful research consultancy in San Francisco, where she handled a variety of qualitative and quantitative projects for clients for 10 years. For every project, regardless of scope or content, Dana is drawn to the opportunity to problem-solve and collaborate in the way she does it best--searching always for the best approach for each client and each marketing issue.

Dana’s role at BRS is a unique combination of quantitative and qualitative skills. With a solid background in research methodology and analysis, she relishes the challenge of finding patterns and insights into human behavior from data. Her perspective and training as a psychologist allow her to be equally at home talking to consumers as well as technical and professional audiences. The result is always a picture of the marketplace that is compelling and solidly grounded.

At B/R/S, Dana is focused on developing research approaches that provide solid quantitative results blended with rich insight and solid tools for decision-making.
